On Friday the 23rd of October 2026 the symposium ‘Bridging psychiatry and cardiology: towards integrated prevention and care’ is hosted at Amsterdam UMC.
Multiple initiatives and projects investigating the link between psychiatric and cardiovascular disorders are ongoing at Amsterdam UMC and beyond. This Dutch Heart Foundation funded symposium brings together leading experts to present stateof-the-art research and foster discussion and connection. The overarching goal is to advance more integrated and effective approaches to prevention and care of psychiatric and cardiovascular disorders.
Target audience: Clinicians & researchers (in training) from psychiatry, cardiology, or a related field (accreditation is being applied for).
