LYMPHEDEMA MODULE

MASTERCLASS SKIN CANCER 

Skin cancer has increased dramatically in recent decades. Early detection and treatment almost always lead to complete recovery. Therefore, it's important to accurately recognize the early stages and distinguish them from common benign lesions. This masterclass will cover the following topics:

– What questions should be included in the anamnesis?

– How do I recognize skin cancer or its precursors?

– What happens to the skin after severe sun damage?

– The ins and outs of working with the Distress Meter.

MASTERCLASS MOHS MICROGRAPHIC SURGERY 

This is a specialized training program for physician assistants and nurses involved in Mohs surgery. Patients spend extended periods on the operating table, and wounds remain open longer, requiring specific skills. 

Mohs micrographic surgery (MMC) is a specialized excision technique in which frozen sections are created intraoperatively. This technique differs from standard frozen section examination in the way these sections are created. The frozen sections are processed as horizontal sections, ensuring that the entire resection plane is visualized. This allows for tissue-sparing surgery with a high degree of certainty (>99%) regarding radicality.
