Target audience
Do you work with people with NAH, in rehabilitation, nursing home care, elderly care, disabled care, day care, outpatient care, or mental health care? Are you going to work with the Hooi op je verk guidance method? Then this course is for you.
We expect you to:
- You have completed an MBO or HBO education in the healthcare sector;
- You now work in practice with people with NAH: you can practice what you learn in your practice;
- You are curious, want to learn and are willing to practice in your practice;
- You have basic knowledge about the causes and consequences of NAH.
- Preferably you have completed the Basic Course in Professionally Dealing with Clients with Brain Injuries
- Did you not follow this, but another NAH course? If you can demonstrate that you have learned about the causes (in various areas) of NAH and you are familiar with the ICF model, you can also participate in another basic NAH course.
Incompany this course is given with a multidisciplinary focus. In the 'open registration' we focus on professionals who receive supervision via their employer from a professional who has previously been trained in 'Hay on your fork'.
Method
During this course you will make intensive use of an inspiring and enlightening e-learning. The roadmap Hooi op je Vork is central and you will learn to apply the methodology consistently and in all stages of the guidance of clients with a NAH.
The course consists of 4 classroom meetings of 3 hours (in-company supplemented with a 5th, optional return day).
In preparation for each course day, you will go through e-learning elements about Hooi op je Vork in our online learning environment and read the literature in general. This way, you will have already absorbed the theory by the time it is time for the meeting. During the course days, we will keep the theory concise by briefly looking back at ambiguities, new insights or open questions. After that, you will mainly practice a lot with concrete tools, so that you can get started with Hooi in your work practice the next day.
During the course you will work (together with colleagues) with a client/case, where you will apply the guidance model, so that you can use your experiences during the course days and experience what works and what you still find difficult.
At the start of the course, you will be divided into groups as a participant, with whom you will jointly discuss case studies from your own work practice during the course. In preparation for the start of the course, you will prepare three to four cases in your group that can be used to translate the theory of Hooi op je Vork and the associated applications.
